The Kelowna Knights have an uphill battle for the season ahead, with the top-heavy Western Conference proving stiff competition. Current leading goal-scorer Activity Check will be crucial to the team's success this year, as the Knights have struggled at times to outscore their problems. Starting goalie Five-Hole Sieve will be a key factor, as the team's goal differential points to struggle both in the blue paint and in their own defensive zone. Crystal McLeod has been generating a ton of offense at Even Strength, and will be key in driving play outside the special teams battle. Rookie Centerman Rodrigo Banes is struggling to keep his head above water, and will need to pick up the pace if the team is to get contributions from their depth forwards. His defensively-oriented play has shown promise at times, but more offense will be needed if the Knights want to improve their -1 Goal Differential and have any serious hopes of being a Playoff Threat.
