Denebor Milasch finally got clearance to move to the United States and join an SMJHL team shortly after the pre-season ended. While having some time to adjust to the speed and SMJHL rink size would have been beneficial, Denebor plans to be ready to join a team and contribute right away. Coming from Poland, he is used to moving and adjusting quickly to new environments to play hockey. He has played in several different leagues and countries across Europe growing up and is hoping to finally get his first taste of true professional hockey in the SMJHL. As the pre-season has wrapped up it has become obvious that several SMJHL teams are in need of a goaltender and Denebor hopes to find a home before the start of the regular season. While Denebor may not be as prepared as other goaltenders, he is okay with taking a season to backup and learn the SMJHL game if that is what it takes.
