Written Task: Your player has created a new analytics stat for the local hockey blog that you worked with earlier this season. What's the stat, how does it work, and which team is best at it? The stat does not have to make sense or have practical real-life analytical use, just have fun. After spending a while of hmming and hawing about a new and interesting stat to make a blog post about (that would of course count Chicago amongst the elite). Alexandros had finally found his answer, the stat to track which from what he could see that Chicago excelled at was surely tracking each teams amount of animal players! Several teams have a few whether it be a dog or a Pokémon or what have you but none have the sheer depth of animals of the Syndicate. From what I have seen Chicago has an impressive 5 animal roster players between a dog in net, a penguin and a balloon popping monkey on defense and a moose and a shark playing forward. Upon further inspection on this I believe this is in fact the reason for Chicago’s unexpected success this season as teams are confused and don’t know how to handle playing so many animals when they skate out on the ice! -161 words |
