S74 SMJHL PT #7 - One Season at a Time

Coming in as a rookie, there were few better places (if any) to land as a goalie than Quebec. Thanks to having such reliable teammates and leadership around me, Ju-gong had a better season than I could’ve ever expected. Given the situation at the team, I wanted to be the starter right out of the gates. Still, going on to lead the league in Wins (30-5-6), and top so many key categories as a first-gen rookie goalie was well beyond expectations. My goals for next season are simply to keep improving, to make sure I give my teammates the best chance at winning the rewards they deserve. Already at the 350 cap, the marathon continues to collect the TPE required to help QCC, and my future SHL team get the most reliable goaltender possible. The highlights of this season would 100% be winning the Laurifer and making it to the semi-finals with such a great group – and of course, individually taking in the most Wins (team achievements are always the most important).
Without a doubt I’m looking forward to a few more amazing seasons at QCC and making more memories with some incredible teammates. |
