Mary's first season in the J was pretty cool. She made a questionable impression on her teammates, as they quickly learned that her eating habits involved a lot of popcorn and she played some of the worst music imaginable when they were unfortunate enough to let her have the aux. However, on the ice she played about as well as a SMJHL rookie could hope. She was, in all honesty, quite happy with her numbers in the regular season. The team wasn't the greatest, but that was through no fault of any individual player on the Elk. It was moreso a reflection of where the franchise was as a team. It was going to be a rebuilding year, we all knew this. We did not know, however, that Mary was going to put up an All Time Bad playoff performance. Those postseason numbers are just brutal, and will certainly light a fire in the soul of Mary Hollywood as she looks to return a much stronger player in season two of her career.
