William Salming is a professional athlete. That's why he knows that even during holiday seasons you can not just lay down and wait for the new season. Yoú need to exercise and develop your weaknesses. Salming has consulted lots of sports professionals who have helped to create a perfect program for offseasons. William recommends it for everyone. When the season finishes, it is good time to rest 10 days without touching the ice-hockey stick. But after that the grind begins again. You learn to play ice-hockey and skate better by being on the ice as much as possible instead of gym, running in forests or swimming. So, that's why Salming skates every week during the summer too. He trains from Monday to Friday and then takes rests during the weekends. He trains twice per day during the week expect Friday when he trains only in the morning. He skates on Tuesday and Thursday. He visits gym on Monday so his body is fresh after the weekend rest. And then on Wednesday and Friday he has some other drills which are top secret. |
