![]() Registered Senior Member Code: Option 2: NO TIME FOR RESTING. If you're not spending every waking minute of the offseason training than can you really be considered one of the greats? Are you going to take a Tuesday off to go to a baseball game? Do you think any of the greatest player of all time ever take a day off? The answer is a resounding no. In all seriousness you have to take time for rest and vacation, but the offseason is really where you can hit the weights and push your body to the limit without having to worry about tiring yourself out for the next game. You can take time for rest, but if you don't improve week to week you're really wasting the freedom and opportunity that an extended break gives you. At the end of the day you only have control over what you can do personally, so my stance is always put the time in and you'll see the results pay off. 162 words ![]() ![]() |
