Code: Option 2: The offseason is all about recharging batteries. That is something that every professional athlete needs. This is when you travel, relax, spend time with family. Basically just do all the shit that you can’t do during the grind of the season. I mean you still need to stay in shape, get to the gym and take care of your body. However the offseason is about taking care of your mind as well. The season can be such a grind and can really wear you down. You need to take the time to recharge and get back at it next season. There needs to be at least 2-3 weeks of relaxation when you don’t even think about hockey or the gym. That is when you regain your love for the game. There needs to be that time otherwise you will go absolutely insane during the season. It is that when it’s the time to start to gear back up and get back into the game. ____________ 164 words ____________ |
