Mänty would likely try to think some other games to play other than hockey to get some variation to training to improve players hand eye coordination. From top of his head he would suggest trying pesäpallo which is pretty similar to baseball though pitch is more predictable making it easier to hit but then trying to hit the ball with required precision and with right amount of power is easier said than done, and not just the batting but also throwing and catching the ball would be quite good training for hand eye coordination. Other than that he would likely steer his teammate to try something that requires more speed to get working on that too, for example start playing guitar hero at increased speeds in hopes of being first player to play Dragonforce's Through Fire and Flames at 200% speed without missing a note, might not help his game but would be absolutely epic achievement.
