How do you train skating? Well, I really think there's a lot of ways to do that. The way that Bayle does this is by doing copious amounts of leg workouts. We are talking about having leg workouts that last a couple hours at least and also go for a week straight. I think it's also important to do upper body, but if we are trying to get faster to keep up with the other players in the SHL, it will be important to trust the lower body and just do a lot of workouts with the legs. I also think it's important to work on hamstrings, back, and glutes as those will help with skating and being able to drive with the legs to go quicker and skate faster. Those are easy ways to get better and go faster. That is how to score and out pace everyone on the ice. You have to work hard.
