7. Day one of the playoffs (3/4/24) I watched all the games streamed. This was the first time all season we got to see all games played with a slow sim instead of an instant sim. With the slow sims I was able to see the ice rinks of each team for the first time as well as hear the home team’s goal horn. My favorite game of the sim was game 2 of the Carolina vs. Anchorage series. This game was very intense with a lot of goal scoring. Carolina started of taking a 2-0 lead, but immediately went into the hole 4-2 by the end of the first. This same trend continued until the final period where Carolina was able to take the game into overtime tied at 7-7. My player Max Belcher actually made the game winning goal this game in overtime which was his first career playoff goal, overtime goal and game winning goal. He also had his first playoff assist of his career that game as well.
