While I can't claim that TDZ and I were especially close, he's easily one of the most important people to me in the SHL. I always appreciated him as a person for his level headed guidance and his ability to resolve situations with tact and treat everyone with dignity.

It feels surreal that he and I were just talking in discord a few days ago about our shared home state. I'm sure my own emotions about the situation pale in comparison to anyone who knew him personally, and my thoughts go out to them in this tough time.

There are so many things I want to try to say but can't put into words. I'll miss you, TDZ.
