If I had to change my IIHF nation from Latvia to a different one, I would probably choose Czechia ran by @Troy_McClure03 . I like the challenge of being in a smaller nation and not guaranteeing success but guaranteeing a spot on the team. When I first created my player it was a toss up between Latvia and Czechia and I ultimately went with Latvia as I assumed they would have less players overall. I believe Czechia is pretty small as well, they just got their WJC team entered this past season splitting up UCORCAL. After playing 2 tournaments with all the Czech playerss I think joining them would be fun. Playing for the US or Canada isn't really appealing for me and I am not sure why, I think I just like our squad being underdogs and not favourites. Maybe I create my next player as a Czech player instead of a Latvian, that is a long time in the future though.
