In order to prepare for the playoffs after a very long season, the Nevada Battleborn decided to go to a casino in Las Vegas as a team bonding exercise and hopefully there were no gambling addicts on the scene. The team overall had a great time and Suchanek obviously lost a whole ton of money in the process, those slot machines will get you. Now, the Battleborn must focus on the playoffs ahead of them as it is going to be a long road that will require a few upsets here and there. First off, the Battleborn must play the first round of the Four Star Cup playoffs against the San Diego Tidal who finished ninth overall in the league. Personally, Suchanek watched a bunch of film against the Tidal and also watched a few SHL goalies to see if he could apply anything they did to his game. Although Suchanek will probably not be staring anyways. The team ran a few scrimmages as well prior to the actual playoffs beginning and a meditation session to clear the mind. By that point the boys were ready to begin their cup run.
