SMJHL GM QUESTIONS


How many hours a week do you usually have free? (ie. 1, 3, 6+, etc.)

- I have around 10+ hours free every week.


What is the most optimal way of cooking a hotdog?

- grilled. All day everyday


What made you join the SHL?

- I am familiar with Simulation leagues but I've only ever known the simulation being ran through NHL 23/24. So when I found out this wasn't just another league, I joined instantly. I haven't played a single game yet & I already know this is the best simulation league out there!


If you could travel back to any point in time, what would it be and why?

- I'd want to travel back to the 90's. I was born '03 so I grew up listening to 90's music. I always imagined what it would be like to hear 2pac when he blew up in '91. I also love all the neon colors lol.


If you had to give a 30 minute lecture from memory what topic would you choose?

- I'd give a lecture about a book series I've re-read at least 4 times. That book series has kept me going more than I want to admit.

- WAFFLES ALL DAY!!


If a tree falls in the forest does it make a sound?

- 100% it does. Just because no one hears it, doesn't mean it doesn't make a noise. Now it's up to you whether you believe it makes noise or not.


In honor of your team’s Pride Night, you’re being asked to wear a pride-themed warmup jersey to be auctioned off for the benefit of a local LGBTQ+ youth charity. How do you respond?

- I wear the jersey with honor! No questions asked. Especially for it to be auctioned off for charity.


Any hobbies you’ve been into lately?

- Other than Simulation Hockey League?? I love to read, watch sports (EVERYTHING LA) & play video games with the homies.


What is your opinion on The French?

- the pigeons work for the bourgeoisies. In all seriousness, the French are awesome! We wouldn't have soufflés & most importantly we wouldn't have crepes.


What is the best book you have read and why? (Comics included)

- I mentioned the book before but Red Rising by Pierce Brown. It's originally a trilogy but turned saga because of how amazing the books are!! I enjoy it so much. The book not only includes life lessons for young adults but the concepts that are brought up are mind boggling. I would've never thought in 1000 years to think of some of the things Brown writes about.


What do you consider the most important part of a fun league experience?

- I would say it's definitely the community. There's no way any of this happens without Graders ( every type of grader), Head Office, Gms, and obviously the players. Along with making it go round, it wouldn't be any fun without getting to talk to people from around the world.


Taylor ham or Pork Roll?

- pork roll & I'm not even from the east coast lol.


What’s your favorite Pokemon? Why?

- My favorite Pokemon is definitely Machamp. He is not to be messed with! The fact that he has 4 arms gives him the advantage no matter the Pokemon. (Unless it's a Snorlax) Snorlax is my #2 favorite.


What video games do you play?

- I play rainbow six siege, overwatch 2, COD, Apex legends, MLB the show, & NHL 23.


If you were to choose a breed of dog you would most likely be, what would it be and why?

- I'd like to be Dachshund just so I can say that I'ma a Weiner dog. Also bc they get special treatment for not being able to walk up stairs.
