Good Evening SHL,

Late in the S76 Season it was determined that the Los Angeles Panthers had a player on their roster putting them over the $75,000,000 roster cap limit as stated in the SHL Rulebook Section C-1.

After investigation, it was determined that the player in question (Yannick Svoboda) retired after the turn of the season, and thus unintentionally was listed as a rostered player on a corpse season for LAP during the S76 season.  The intent of the player was to have retired prior to end of S75 (and forgo their corpse season)  This caused LAP to be over budget during the season. The player did not play any games during the S76 season. However, LAP failed to move the player off of their roster in accordance with the GM task timeline.

The Los Angeles Panthers @FuzzSHL & @Whitecap are assessed the following punishment for 5 Day late GM Task:

Section II, Subection B, Rule 3b. Additional offseason tasks:

Quote:Five Days Late: Forfeiture of the team's next available third round draft pick, 2,000,000 fine to the coming season's salary cap, and forfeiture of GM and co-GM pay for that season.

This punishment was voted on and communicated to the GMs prior to the season, and we apologize for the delay in posting.
