Montreal still has a chance to make it - we all just don't know it yet. There is a clause in the rules that says "After many seasons of being totally inept at achieving more than 20 wins the poor team will be given a pity entry into the playoffs to get a taste of the end of season play" Now we don't get to play any games but we get to enter a building that has playoff games in it.
