Jussi loves being the one to welcome new faces to the team. He has a few different ways to help players get settled in depending on their personality. With some, he fully takes them under his wing, gives them a place to stay until they get their bearings. With others he becomes their workout buddy to help them get prepared for the adjustment from the juniors to the Simulation Hockey League. But with a select few, he goes full rivalry mode to push them into the next gear.

With Xavier Beausoleil, a player Jussi was very familiar with in the SMJHL, Jussi took it upon himself to elevate Xavier’s game to All-Star levels. When they practiced together, Jussi would go harder than usual to get his fellow Legion of Boom member fired up before the game. And it looks like it worked out because Xavier Beausoleil was the all-star selected to represent the Montreal Patriotes.
