The first people that saw LHL’s potential would have to be his mother and then his first teachers in middle school who could clearly tell that school was not for Langston and instead he should focus his attention onto physical pursuits. His mother was an avid skater and noticed that Langston was becoming quite good at that aspect of hockey from an early age and that love of the sport only increased once you put a stick in his hands and gave him a purpose when he was skating about. Once he started slashing and committing penalties though, there was no going back from that.
Another key figure in Langston’s development into a top talent would have to be the local hawaiian shirt salesman who noticed how well Langston was doin only wearing hawaiian shirts instead of under armour or something along those line when competing and wanted a good sponsorship idea and or good press.
