The team that trains together wins together. Andren isn't the best scoring player on the Panthers nor is he the best defensive player. They barely trust him on any special teams really. He is the best on the team at one thing though: fighting. As the Panthers most proflific and best fighter of recent memory, Andren feels that it his place to make sure that all the newbies coming onto the team are prepared to defend themselves. He won't always be there to rattle the cages of their opponents so everyone who wants to call themselves a Panther needs to be able to hold their own. I mean, what if their is a line brawl? You can't sit back while the rest of your team fights it out. For Andren, its the duty of everyone who is the best at anything on the team to try to do their level best to help their teammates get better and in his case, that means making sure everyone can punch other players in the face well.
