Seeing as this is Anna’s first season in Maine, she has taken it upon herself to be a mentor to everyone on the team to try and help them become the best versions of their hockey player self. While she does genuinely enjoy helping out other players, part of the reasoning behind this is selfish. Anna only agreed to the trade from Quebec City so that she could have a chance to win another four star cup on a strong Maine Timber team. The Timber added a couple of rookie skaters in the draft, so Anna is helping them out in drills at practice every day, giving them tips on how to improve, mostly helping out in the skating department, which is definitely her strongest skill as a player. The hard work seems to be paying early dividends, as the Maine Timber had a phenomenal start to the season, sitting at first in the league at the time of this writing.
