There are a lot of candidates to win MVP for this season. This trophy will receive a player, who has most needed for his team. 
One of the candidates is definitely Doug Weight, the most productive player of the league with 88 points in 57 matches. Another candidate is also the best scorer of this league, Chris McZehrl III with 43 goals in 60 matches. 
Also Baron Samedi is on the list, because he has the best shooting percentage. 
May O'Nase has the best plus/minus in the league, also has the most shots in the SMJHL. 
But also defensemans should be on this list. For example, Boofa Benson and Dieter Fruhstuck have the most blocked shots in the league and I think that great shot blocking is very important for you team.
It's very unusual that goalie wins MVP, but If I want to nominate some goalies, I will choose Kris, because he has 27 wins in 35 matches, so lot of wins in just 35 matches, and Walter Scheibli, because he has the most saves in the league and he faces the most shots per game. 
But I think that Doug Weight will win the MVP.
