Here are my top 3 candidates, assuming the MVP awards are based on.. how good players actually are.

#3 is C Anna Skovgaard, one of my teammates. Incredibly good teamplayer. Top 5 in points, assists and +/- for forwards. A major aspect in this generally is just being a cool teammate and person, and Anna fits well in that regard.

#2 is RW May O'Nayse, another Tree. Top 5 in goals, points and +/- aswell as being #1 in shots for the entire SMJHL. Really great asset to our team, I have very high hopes for them going into awards season.

#1 is definitely Doug Weight. League points leader for probably like two to three weeks at this point, league leader in assists, top 6 in shots and top 10 in +/-. Maine's best performer (though the two I've mentioned are battling for that position!) and in my opinion the league's best too, I think Doug Weight is in for MVP this season.
