Carter Rumsey slowly stepped through the Kraken locker room doors, feeling the overwhelming sense of pride that he has longed for since he first stepped foot on the ice over twenty years ago. Carter was never a particularly flashy player, a quiet man that's always preferred to let his game speak for itself. Immediately Carter scans the room, seeing many of his teammates, a couple look over with a welcoming grin. Goose, Mannon, and Ocho are huddled in the back end of the locker room, each waving and then quickly getting back to their discussion of who is going to be star of the season opener. Carter is loving the sense of competitiveness in the air, everyone seeming eager to get on the ice and show why they deserve top minutes. Sve7en ultimately came over and greeted Carter. Carter was shown to his locker. He slowly placed his bag in the cubby, peering up and noticing his name tag above, he has finally made it. Various players came up and welcomed Carter, he suited up and headed for the ice. Time to prove his worth.
