Through the early part of the season, the San Diego Tidal have gone out to a 3-7-3 start. Currently sitting in 13th place in the lesgue, they're working on finding their chemistry. While they have a lot of work to do, the Fortune/Cross/Kovalev line has started to gel.

Joey Fortune entered the SMJHL after the draft and was slow to catch up. Now that he's got his line mates, his goal scoring had picked up. He's currently sitting at 6 goals and 1 assist on the season. While his career is still very young, he's hoping to keep up the goal scoring as he grows.

Ethan Cross is the center on this dynamic and upcoming line, and he's a great playmaker. Currently sitting with 7 assists on the season, Cross is the reason why this line is able to score when they're on the ice. Cross is sitting second on the team with a 54% face off win percentage.

Christov Kovalev is the old man on the line. In his third season, the 6' 6" Kovalev brings the physical game to this line. He's second on the team in hits, and leads the team in penalty minutes.
