SMJHL HO PEANUT! Code: Teams want their players to be at their best when they hit the ice so they spend money to hire best staff to help them. Personal trainers, physiotherapists, equipment managers and many more are there to help your player to achieve highest levels and be as comfortable on ice as they can be. Who are the most important members of non coaching staff to your player? Who they are? How they help your player and what kind of relationship they have build with them? This is probably why the team therapist for Montreal is the most important non-coach advisor to John Peanut for the team. Its bad enough to deal with the trauma growing up, but as an adult size peanut bodied hockey player, there's more than enough ridicule to go around. Despite the toughness of his outer shell, some of the commentary that comes his direction hurts, and while some retribution is easily handled on the ice with a well placed hit or puck steal, some things can just eat away at a person and if left unchecked can become a ticking time bomb for bigger issues. Mental health is no joke and should be assisted accordingly. |
