When GM hotdog came up with the idea for a team pet, he did not even need to ask the locker room what their thoughts were. Behind his back he revealed the most adorable river otter anyone had ever seen. Immediately he began roaming around, doing that cute high pitched squeak that otters do. What do we name him? everyone in the locker room was asking. Well, we could not NOT name him after one of the franchise's absolute legends, Eko. And so it was set in stone, Eko van Otter had officially been "reincarnated" into Eko the baby otter. Everyone on the team takes their own turns and shares of taking care of him. While he mostly hangs out in the training room in the various tubs that the players use, he will join them out on the bench for warm ups from time to time. His cuteness drives this team to do better day in and day out.
