Carl, the answer is Carl. Simply put, Los Angeles has been way ahead of the curve in that we already have a mascot, a team companion that is very in line with our brand and identity : Carl the Panther. You read that right, the team brass has elected to overlook your typical cat and dog. While yes a dog is a great companion, a dog is a loyal friend and the cuddles are simply put elite, are they really enough for a hockey team? Cats are just way too boring to fit that role, great at home, but lazy and nonchalant to the point where considering them is a grave mistake. So we got a panther, a beautiful young cub at first that was trained to be the best damn presence you would wish for. Its cute, its powerful, its fearsome for opposing teams (yes we let Carl roam freely to intimidate our visitors, gotta do what you can to get an edge!) and it eats all the leftovers cooked up by the chef, its the biggest W the organization has had other than the season 75 and season 78 cups, and morale has been through the roof!
