Man, I’m all for having a team pet! I think it’s exactly what the New Orleans Specters need to keep the locker room vibes high. If we’re picking a mascot, it’s gotta be something fierce but a bit quirky too. How about a raccoon? Hear me out, those little guys are scrappy, quick, and they know how to make a mess, just like us on the ice. We could call him Bandit, perfect for a sneaky playmaker. Bandit wouldn’t just chill in the arena either, I say he’s got full access, locker room and all. Imagine him hanging out on the bench during games, riling up the boys. It’d be hilarious! Plus, he could pop into practices, steal pucks, and keep everyone on their toes. As for who takes care of him? Let’s have each player take him home for a week, kinda like those class pets we had as kids. Everyone would get a turn to bond with Bandit. Of course, we’d need someone on staff to make sure he’s not getting into too much trouble, but I think it’d be a fun way to keep the team tight. Bandit’s got that New Orleans spirit, gritty and unpredictable, just like us.
