Written Option 1:

As MET are beautiful trees we don't really have a set mascot or animal to represent our team, but if I had to choose one I would choose a cat, specifically a Maine Coon. My personal favorite cat breed! Basically lil (not really little, actually) gentle giants that are named after our state and are also our state cat which definitely gives it more meaning to us. They also adjust well to the strong northeastern winters here in Portland. They are playful, love their owners and mostly peaceful, friendly cats. I imagine the locker room will take turns taking care of her (she is a girl :3), and during the offseason the same thing will happen with kitty vibing with each different players and staff year round. I also think that she would really enjoy being out near the ice because she is already a big fan of winter, and the fans get so excited whenever she comes out and it is just overall a big wholesome moment.
