A Simulation Hockey League team having a mascot would be an absolute nightmare. Firstly, whoever comes up with the idea has to convince the players. Then, the players can convince the coaching staff. Then, the coaching staff has to convince the head coach. Then, the head coach has to go to the GM, CIO, CFO, owner, and a whole host of other important figures in the upper hierarchy of team management that getting a pet to roam the ice rink - in the freezing cold - is a good idea. There are very few animals that could thrive in such an environment and even fewer that could thrive in icy environments. Therefore, if the Forge were to get a pet - which is highly unlikely - it would be something like a lizard or a bird, possibly a husky. A husky may actually be the best choice, and he'd have the name HODL after an iconic @Drokeep moment in the Forge playoff run several seasons back.
