The Kraken took far too many penalties (7) and didn’t seize the opportunity when their powerplay was on the ice (0/5). It was a tough showing for their goalie Mason Remy as he was pulled nearly half way though the 2nd period after giving up 7 goals before being replaced by rookie goalie, Dolph. Scarecrow Defensemen Jean Bon started off the new year in great fashion with the first star after scoring 1 goal and 2 assists. The next and last game of the day hosted by the San Diego Tidal against the Anchorage Armada. There was no seasickness to be had as the Armada cruised right through the waves. Although the stat sheet shows this to be a evenly matched game, the shots on goal was a wide margin (61 – 28) and taking those chances to the net paid off for the Armada in the 3rd period where they scored 4 goals and put the game to bed. It’s no surprise that Armada's Barcus Juneau was the first star of the game with their 3pts (1g, 2a) and +6 (!!!) +/-. Challenging game for undersized Tidal defenseman Jeremy Snugglemuffin III as he was -5 in this game. David never stood a chance against this goliath. All Task completed! Completion Bonus Awarded! @Elad315 - Digdoug11 |
