Of course William Salming follows social media and what people are writing about him. If someone says that they are not following social media, they are lying simply as that. Because human nature is curious. Salming accepts that it is a part of his job to be a public person. That's why he doesn't participate conversions about him. He just reads them silently at his own home office and sometimes laughs to them if there are some funny stories about his performances on ice. But Salming is still active in the Twitter and helds a monthly Q and A session there with fans. He began the habit when he played in Seattle and he has continued it in Hamilton. It is a nice way to get in touch with the fans and get closer to them so they don't write so negative comments about Salming if William plays a bad game or misses one-timer when there is an empty net ahead of him.
