Throughout the past few seasons, Cristoforo Roccamontepiano has been able to develop great chemistry with his two linemates, Andrea Morandi and Randolph Thompson-Smythe. The three compliment each other well; between the three of them there's no real weaknesses, which allows them to excel in all situations. Roccamontepiano has developed into a defensively responsible centre who specializes in the offensive zone, Thompson-Smythe is a talented power forward who's great at getting under the opponents' skin, and Morandi is an excellent two-way forward who's just as comfortable pick pocketing the opponent as finding an open player in the slot. They've been playing together since they were all drafted to the Quebec City Citadelles in season 77, and will continue to do so going into the S79 playoffs and S80. Beyond this, Roccamontepiano and Morandi are both prospects in the Edmonton Blizzard pipeline, so the two Italians will also be facing the SHL together once their careers in the juniors are wrapped up.
