Edouard Lavoie avoids social media at all costs. The only time he reluctantly interacts with it is when he needs to promote his philanthropic activities or promote team events trying to get the fans out and more involved with the team. It is extremely rare for Edouard to read what anyone on social media is writing about him or his team, let alone what professional journalists write. The only time he is even willing to interact with journalists on the record is when it is required by his contract or is directly asked to participate to promote team functions. Edouard does not find reading things people post for engagement worth his time, and simply focuses on improving himself and getting better as a teammate to accomplish his ultimate goal of winning a cup. He does not maintain any active social media accounts and has an agency manage his promotional posts for him so that he has to interact with it as little as possible.
