Of course, that didn't mean there were no promising signs, and Alexa Johansen, rookie and new superstar, had been invited on by the team's media team to do some interviews. Of course, they started discussing the team performance, what could improve, what to look forward to in the future, what, exactly, those promising signs actually were. But everyone knew the real topic would be the performance of the players. With so much of the team being rookies, there was plenty to talk about, though the casters largely focused on the forwards, Alexa's own role and area of expertise. They discussed the MattyJ trade, the performance of Matviy and how he could become the leader of the second line, as well as Alexa's linemates, Olafur Atlason and Gwendolyn Telenn, but then it was the real highlight of the show: discussing Johansen's own record breaking rookie season, what she did and how she trained, in order to get 89 points as a rookie, setting a new modern era record for the SHL. We really do be manifesting that Rookie of the Year award <3
"That way - no, no, a little to the left!" "Oh, shit, not like that wait no -!!" crash!!! "Oh god Cake is gonna hit me again" :'0 |
