Written task 2:

Spaceman Spiff almost turned down the offer to appear as a last minute guest colour commentator for an exhibition cricket match held in Ottawa but when his agent told him the appearance fee he fell out of his chair and rushed to the field immediately. Of course, he was a day early, but that gave him lots of time to prepare! He dove into research about cricket and the teams, staying up all night to get the details. The next day he arrived at the field in a state of confusion and joined the hosts in the booth. It didn't take long to learn that he knew nothing, and less than nothing. Googling "cricket facts" had sent him down a rabbit hole about the insects, who in fact did not play any sports he learned. Also, he had come armed with information about Georgia the state instead of the visiting country of Georgia. Not we wanting to let his work become useless, Spiff eased in to the broadcast by asking questions of the regular hosts and casually dropping insect cricket facts and stats about the state of Georgia. He played it off as a joke and managed to create an entertaining but self-depricating show.
