Jennifer is very excited to talk about the Dragons first round matchup against the Los Angeles Panthers. Jen acknowledges that Los Angeles is an incredibly talented team, and the defending Challenge Cup champions at that. But she notes that Calgary was able to find success against them in the regular season, and that Calgary has youth on their side, and a rookie 3rd line that Los Angeles hopefully won’t have an answer for in the playoffs. Focusing on herself, Jen felt she had a good rookie season and can hopefully carry that momentum into her first Challenge Cup playoff run. She notes she’ll likely have a hard assignment against Los Angeles’ first line based on line matching, but if she ends up against their 3rd line she may have more room to score. From a personality perspective, Jen is very levelheaded and prepared. She’s faced pressure her entire career and this is nothing new for her.
