Written Option 1

After the sweep of Minnesota, I was able to talk about our upcoming matchup in the conference finals. As I was interviewed, though it was made interesting by the fact that the opponent was not yet determined. Calgary and San Francisco are currently tied at 2, and Texas will play the winner of that matchup. As I was interviewed, I made it very clear to the interviewers that we were going to prepare for either matchup. Really, these are two incredibly talented teams that each present their own respective challenges. We know that no matter who we were going to face this far into the playoffs, it would be a challenge and will most likely go to six or seven games. I made sure to highlight our team's efforts and how in the series against Minnesota to get here, we played some of our best team hockey all season and it really showed with a sweep. In the interviewer, I definitely made sure to show my excitement with advancing this far, but caution with making sure we are prepared and ready for the fight.
