Twinkle Toes started off to a very hot start, picking up points on a very consistent basis. It was an exciting time but it was not to be. Toes hit a slump a few weeks in as most rookies do and was bleeding goals defensively and not contributing offensively. So he hit the gym, trained even harder, got his TPE up and up and up. Yet, results were hard to come by. Even though Twinkle was a much improved player in the back half of the season, he could not regain his early season form. While he didn't set the world on fire in the last third of the season he was steady in both ends of the ice. He was slightly disappointed of his overall play this year. On the off-season Toes will need to work on his defensive side of his game as he was a -9 this year, 4th worst on Detroit. Hopefully next season Toes will be given a bigger role, bigger chance to prove just how much he has improved this year.
