New England says goodbye to some players
#1

Writing it here since I think its a good place to start.

its always tough to let people walk to free agency because your plans have changed, or you needed to call someone up. Or players/users who have been on the team for such a long time are retiring. And with New England, we are getting to those times. Specifically a couple people I want to say thank you personally to. They were instrumental for helping New England get to where it needed to be. Winning 3 cups with another 2 finals appearances. The best team of the S70's. Its sad to see those people go.

First I want to say thank you to @Snussu
Its a crazy stat, but Outdoor truck finished his career with the 2nd most franchise points. 862 points in 858 games played. a player I drafted to be my co-gm all the way back in S64. Probably one of the best draft picks I could have made. As loyal as ever, I am proud that I was able to get his career to great heights. A 112 point season peak, Outdoor truck was the yink to Ivan Lacksamus's yang. I think they played on the same line for like 8 ish seasons. More impressively is how he played in the playoffs. If I said Outdoor truck was top 10 in playoff points would you believe me? Well believe me. 190 games played in the playoffs, 205 points. Unreal stuff. So I would link to thank you Snussu for having an amazing career. Hopefully you find a good team to land to in Free Agency

@Runningman434

Thank you for 10 amazing seasons with New England. Winning 3 cups together and being a steadfast defensive partner to Sven Yxshaft to start your career. Then being the defensive partner to Seamus O'Slapahan for 8 glorious seasons. You left an amazing mark on the franchise, one of the rare people to win 3 cups on the same team. You were 3rd all time in franchise history in shots blocked. You showed up where it mattered too. 73 points in 167 games played in the playoffs. 39th all time by defensemen in playoff points. 3rd all time by defensemen in shots blocked in the playoffs as well. Most importantly, 4 GWG in the playoffs as well. You were a rock on the 1st pairing for the time where we dominated the most. Along side Seamus. Thank you for the amazing seasons!

@Z0REM

Finally, the man the myth the legend. The irish defensemen. I think its a great accomplishment when a defensemen gets nominated for the Ron Mexico. Not a lot of defensemen get that honor. And you are one of the rare ones to get nominated. you had a lot of dominant seasons. You were the best player i drafted in your draft season. A 2nd round pick into a hopefully HOF player. Its sucks to lose a caliber player like you. Though, I am happy that you were able to spend your whole career here. 1st in playoff shots blocked, so many magical moments during all 3 cup wins. Congrats on retirement and good luck with your next player!
