Ottawa to San Francisco by bus? That's a tough one. It's about a 42 hour drive if everyone goes smoothly and it rarely does. It's probably bring the entire team but make sure there were plenty of books so people were quiet. As for stops, I would probably refuse to stop until we got to Chicago but it would just be for thirty minutes. "Yep, were here." And then we'd be back on the bus. The hardest part of the trip would be going through Nebraska, I-80 is one of the worst drives in the history of driving. You have hundreds of miles of literally nothing. By the time that was done we would make it to Cheyenne where I would probably just give up. I used to live in Cheyenne so I'd have to look up any old friends and I'd probably stop caring about making the finals at that point. I'd probably see if they had any local teams and just start playing there instead. I'd hand the keys off to one of the Captains and send them on their way to never be seen again. Cheyenne has plenty to offer someone like me which is some decent places to eat and sleep. They even have a movie theater so I'm good.

I honestly had no idea who won until I had to do this prompt, that's how little I'm invested. I'm honestly not sure why I'm still doing this. But as for why Philadelphia won, I mean San Francisco, just look at the leaders. The Forge had two goalscorers in the top ten, the Pride had six. As for points, Forge had three while Pride had seven. It seems like San Francisco just had so much more depth than Philadelphia. While Philadelphia's leaders were way ahead of San Francisco, it seems like the bottom lines did more for San Francisco. But I never watched a game so I really don't know how it all shook out. Scoring that many points in the playoffs is kind of bonkers anyway. What are we even doing here? As for what Philadelphia could have done differently, it's hard to say. They're an accomplished franchise and have been for quite some time but maybe age is catching up to them? Again I have no clue who is even on their team or how old or young they are but I'm just guessing. I guess they could have tried to score more goals than the other team, that might have given them a better advantage.
