Linderberg traveled to Maine on his own following the draft since his family had to travel back home following the draft week festivities. Upon arriving everyone was super welcoming and quick to offer their help settling in. With how welcoming everyone was, nobody in particular stood above the rest, which is a really good thing. There were even some alumni around to help welcome the new players.

The team did setup a party to celebrate the new draftees. It had a food table full of Maines finest dishes. If you didnt know means there was a lot of lobster rolls and whoopie pies. These were very strange and new foods to Lindberg who has spent his whole life in Sweden. While Lindberg did enjoy it, he was ready to get to business and immedately started getting to know his potential linemates, and fellow rookie Apollo Seaborne whom he seeing himself playing with for the next few seasons.
