Brett McMann was recently drafted 19th overall to the San Diego Tidal. McMann is thrilled to find himself a new team to play for that pays good money and luckily is right close to the water. McMann has always wanted to learn surfing so this move worked perfectly, the first thing he did when he arrived in San Diego was check out all the beaches. Shortly after, he made his way to the arena where all the recently drafted rookies were waiting. San Diego had a big draft class and so the GM wanted to have us all get together and meet each other. We had a tour of the rink, was each shown our new dressing stalls, and then was treated to a cooked dinner made by the rink’s chef crew. It was a great bonding moment for the new players. Once the dinner had completed, the rest of the team were hanging out at a bar close to the rink and so all the rookies went over to hangout and meet the rest of the team.
