Vasher took the long flight to Detroit to meet his new team. He was nervous about moving to a new town, he had lived in Santa Ana for most of his life. While he was a little overwhelmed, he knew he had some family friends that lived in the area. Having someone he knew locally helped ease his nerves a bit. After dropping some things at his temporary living situation in Detroit, he made his way to the Falcons' locker room. Upon entering, he was welcomed by lots of teammates, receiving pats on the back and hair ruffles. Vasher wasn't normally one for this type of behavior but he figured it was a tradition, so he let them get away with it. A few of the shorter players even made him hunch over to reach the top of his head. Some of the team leaders took some time and walked him around the facility and helped him get to know the place. He felt like he was beginning to fit in.
