Written Option: How does your player settle in the city? Who helps them to get started, someone from the team or maybe someone coming with them from home? What happens when they arrive to arena for the first time to check the lockerroom. How do their new teammates respond? Did they organize anything to welcome your player and the other draftees to the team? Must include at least 150 words.
After getting off a plane from nice warm Southern California, it was nice to see the winter air be so clean and fresh. Take a look around the city, it will take some getting use to the slower paced life style of Kelowna compared to California, but Cutter is up for the change. The Knights have been very welcoming to him since they see him as a player who could help contribute to the teams success and grow within the organization. While be it alone this time, Cutter will be able to make friends fast as he never shies away from an opportunity to learn and try new things. Arriving to the arena was an incredible experience as members of the team all welcomed Cutter to, "The Knights of the Round table". Being a newly drafted Knight, it feels good to be surrounded from a very diverse and knowledgeable group of team members. Cutter typically likes to keep the calm cool and collected approach to his off ice locker room routine, but being around a group of people who are all joking around and sharing stories is enough to drop the act and be more of himself. The Knights of the Round Table will rise up this year, and hopefully Cutter will be able to make a difference as the Knights look to take the throne this year in the upcoming season. (WC 232) |
