Right off the bat, it was difficult for soon to be rookie sensation Captain Obvious when he arrived in San Diego. His celebrity status from television appearances made him stand out from others in this past draft, and that stood out as fans of his commercials greeted him at Sand Diego International Airport.

Once he took the time to greet his adoring fans, take some pictures, and sign autographs, Captain Obvious spent time exploring the sights and sounds of San Diego, and settle into his new condo room near the arena. Once that was taken care of, he, obviously, took the time to head into the arena, checking out the ice quality, the locker rooms, and the overall setup that he would be partaking of in the near future. Then he took the time to go through his personal training program on, and off, the ice, making sure he's in tip top shape to body some people and show the league that Captain Obvious is here to stay... obviously.
