As I arrived in Kelowna, people welcomed me, I was surprised about the hype surrounding me. To be fair, the fans directly took me as one of them and I am grateful for that. This certainly helped me to settle in this beautiful city. The general manager of the team certainly helped me to get started by giving me any piece of advice I needed to get used to this new chapter of my life. He also helped me to target what were the points i needed to improve to become a better player and help my developpement. When I first went to the arena, I was flabbergasted. Playing in front of so many people isn’t something I was used to but now, I’ll have to get used to it. It felt like it was a temple, I had heard many good things about this rink but seeing it in real life is something else! My new teammates were also truly kind to me! They gave me a lot of advice too and wished me a warm welcome to the franchise, which I obviously liked much.
