Matt Retinol has arrived in Carolina. After receiving a warm welcome from teammates and management, Matt headed downtown to search for what would be his very first own apartment. After finding a place, he joined some other rookies for a dinner in the downtown core. Steak was on the menu. The next day Matt headed to the rink to check out the new locker room. Beyond impressed that the team already had a cubby waiting for him, Retinol suited up and headed to the ice. The new teammates were beyond friendly, and Matt is looking forward to the upcoming season. Matt is unsure what is planned for the rest of the week; but is confident the team will be looking after him on his new journey to eventually become a starter for the Carolina Kraken. As the day came to a close, Matt settled into bed at his new apartment, overwhelmed and in disbelief he went as high as the 3rd round of the draft. He closed his eyes and dreamt of winning his debut game with the Kraken.
