Ana Söderström's offseason strength training is a pretty typical regimen for a goaltender, being balanced but focusing heavily on lower-body movement. Since her style relies so much on effective movement within her crease, strong lower-body strength is necessary to ensure that she can consistently make the push-offs required to be in the right place to stop each shot.
